Costa Rica
Welcome to your one-stop travel resource to navigate your stay in Costa Rica.
Located on the Pacific peninsula of Costa Rica, Santa Teresa and its surrounding towns are home to some of the most magnificent year-round surf breaks, dynamic wildlife and luxury offerings amongst nature.
Located in a Blue Zone, the Nicoya Peninsula is home to one of five blue zones in the world, where the healthy climate and lifestyle result in longer than average lifespans. Come unwind, relax and enjoy our jungle beach town!
When to Visit
The most popular time to visit Santa Teresa is during the dry season, between November and March. With few exceptions, you will wake up to sunny days every day and enjoy idyllic sunsets. The swells this time of year are typically consistent and best for beginner to intermediate surfers. Some people enjoy the electricity of foggy morning surfs, uncrowded line ups and sipping coffee in the brisk jungle air.
The busiest time of year is between mid-December to mid-January. The end of November is typically busy due to the American Thanksgiving holiday. Many seasonal locals come for the first quarter of the year. The town begins to become less busy after the Easter and Passover holidays. June is known to sometimes offer a “veranito,” when it is sunnier than its surrounding months.

WILD was founded by Alexandra Smith in 2023, after living in Santa Teresa for nearly two years and obtaining her residency.
After a decade of working in Private Equity, mostly based in New York City, Alexandra left the industry in search of something she felt more connected to, more tangible, more authentic, more pure… La Pura Vida.
After visiting the area on a whim, she returned home to immediately sell her assets and make the bold move to live a simple life in the jungle.
Alexandra feels most alive surfing, exploring and reciprocating the high vibes in the barefoot beach town she now calls home. She hopes to share the magic she has found in Santa Teresa with visitors from across the globe.
